Refunds & Cancellations

This Refunds & Cancellations policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms & Conditions. Please review both documents to understand your rights and obligations regarding bookings, cancellations, and refunds.
Player Cancellations
Each booking is subject to the cancellation policy indicated at the time of booking or on the Platform. Please review the specific policy for your booking before confirming.
Default Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time: May be eligible for a full refund of the court fee, subject to the rules of the Facility and PlayKorte's refund procedures.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time: May be non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on the policy in force at the time of booking.
Note: The booking fee paid to PlayKorte is generally non-refundable, except in cases where PlayKorte or the Facility cancels the booking.
No-Shows
If you do not attend your booking and do not cancel in accordance with the applicable policy, your booking will be treated as a no-show.
- No-shows are generally non-refundable.
- The full booking amount (court fee and booking fee) will be charged.
- Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.
Facility Cancellations
If a Facility cancels your confirmed booking (for example, due to weather, maintenance, equipment failure, or other valid reasons), you will normally be entitled to:
- A full refund of the court fee; or
- An alternative arrangement such as a rescheduled booking at a time convenient to you.
In cases of Facility cancellation, the booking fee will also be refunded. PlayKorte will notify you as soon as possible if a Facility cancels your booking.
How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a booking:
- Log in to your PlayKorte account.
- Navigate to your bookings or reservations.
- Select the booking you wish to cancel.
- Follow the cancellation instructions provided.

Refund Processing
How refunds are processed:
- Payment method refund: Approved refunds are usually processed back to the original payment method (where technically possible), subject to PayMongo and bank or e-wallet rules.
- Wallet credits: In some cases, PlayKorte may process refunds as wallet credits or alternative payout methods, which you can use for future bookings.
- Processing time: Refund processing times vary depending on the payment method and intermediaries (typically 3-10 business days) and are outside of PlayKorte's direct control.
The eligibility for a refund is not dependent on whether PayMongo is still holding the funds. Where necessary, PlayKorte may refund a Player and later recover the corresponding amount from future payouts to the Facility.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge and initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment provider, PlayKorte will provide available booking records to assist in resolving the dispute.
If a chargeback or dispute is resolved in your favor, you will receive a refund in accordance with the resolution. However, please note that initiating a chargeback without first contacting PlayKorte support may result in restrictions on your account.
We encourage you to contact us first at support@playkorte.com to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback.
Special Circumstances
PlayKorte may, at its discretion, provide refunds or accommodations in special circumstances such as:
- Medical emergencies (with appropriate documentation)
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- Technical issues on the Platform that prevented booking or cancellation
- Other circumstances as determined by PlayKorte on a case-by-case basis
